大伙都了解咱们常说的二皮脸的意思是脸皮厚，我发现英语中有一个表达字面意思与二皮脸非常像：two-faced。

假如有人说She is a two-faced person. 你是否会就想当然理解为她脸皮非常厚。呢？

这是错误的哦~

Two-faced其实指的是两面派；伪君子，英文讲解为：Duplicitous; habitually^{1 presenting a different version of oneself at different times, especially in the presence of different people.}

（duplicitous [djuplsts; dj-] adj.奸诈的；双重的；搞两面派的）

所以：She is a two-faced person.意思是她非常虚伪。

咱们再来看一个例子：

John is not as nice as he pretends to be. He is really two-faced.

约翰根本不是他装出来的那样好，他真是个两面派。
